On 2nd July 2017, Chingford Masjid was pleased to be part of the Waltham Forest Interfaith Walk organised by the Waltham Forest Faith Communities Forum. Members from different faiths were welcomed into our mosque in time for the midday prayers (Zuhr) with some members actively taking part. We were also humbled by the presence of the Mayor of Waltham Forest, Councillor Yemi Osho.

After the prayers, a presentation was given by the Imam explaining the basics of Islam with some very interesting questions being asked by the group. This was then followed by lunch provided by the mosque. The group then proceeded to the next stage of the walk to the Highams Park and Chingford Synagogue.
