We have a vacancy for a Madressah Teacher and are looking for a qualified male Hafiz or Alim, preferably with some experience in a similar role
The role involves teaching children about the basics of Islam so that they have enough knowledge to enable them to perform their daily Islamic obligations (salaah, recitation of the Quran, duas for the day, etc). A new syllabus was introduced in September and the students are now following this.
Madressah classes are held every weekday and consist of two one-hour sessions. Group A is from 16:30 to 17:30, and Group B is from 17:30 to 18:30.
Applicants must be able to communicate in English and will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check before commencing employment.
