The moon has not been sighted in Saudi Arabia today and so insha-Allah Ramadan 1440 will commence on the night of Sunday 5th May 2019. Therefore the first taraweeh will be on Sunday after Isha salaah and the first fast will be on Monday 6th May 2019.
We also ask all those who attend the taraweeh prayers to be considerate of our neighbours when leaving the masjid. Please do not congregate outside the masjid afterwards, and make your way straight home.
May Allah accept our fasting, taraweeh, and all other ibadah that we perform during this special month and grant us the special blessing that it contains. Ameen.
